Adult Learn to Row (ages 21+)

The Let's Row Buffalo Adult Learn to Row program is designed to introduce adults with no previous rowing experience to the fundamentals of the sport in a supportive and structured environment. Participants learn the basics of rowing technique, boat handling, safety, and teamwork both on land and on the water.

Discover rowing this fall with our 4‑week Adult Learn to Row program, designed for adults with no prior experience. Learn proper rowing technique, boat handling, safety, and teamwork through supportive, hands‑on instruction both on land and on the water. Led by experienced coaches, each session builds skills, confidence, and connection. Perfect for anyone seeking a new fitness challenge, a fun social community, or a pathway into Masters rowing. Try something new. Join the crew.

Fall Practice Logistics:

  • September 1st - 27th

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-8pm 

  • Sundays 8-10am​

  • $175

What to bring:

  • Fitted, Athletic Clothing

    • Top - Comfortable athletic wear or t-shirt

    • Bottom - Form-fitting, moisture-wicking athletic wear (Examples:  leggings or spandex shorts)

      • Avoid: Baggy pants, hoodies, or long shirts that could snag on equipment

  • Water bottle

  • Hat (optional)

BSRA is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We welcome youth and adults of all abilities from all over WNY to row and kayak on the Buffalo River from 405 Ohio Street. BSRA is an umbrella organization to several association organizations including:  Canisius High School, Buffalo Seminary, RowBuffalo, WeCanRow-Buffalo and BSRA Youth.
