Independent Sculling

This is a non-coached program

This program is for:

  • Experienced rowers

  • Private boat owners

2025 On the Water Dues:

  • Access to boathouse when docks are in

    • $400​

    • or  4-month payment plan $104/month

  • Does not include boat storage

    • See below​

Winter Training:

  • Access to boathouse during winter months

  • Winter Session 1 : January - First day on the water

    • $250​

  • Winter Session 2:  November - December

    • $200

Discounts:

  • 25 under 25

    • 25% reduction in dues of under the age of 25

    • Email mairead@rowbuffalo.com to get set up with a discount code

Please refer to the Safety page for all rules and regulations:

  • Scullers are not permitted to row when the water temperature is below 40° Fahrenheit

  • Scullers are required to wear a PFD when the water temperature is below 50° Fahrenheit

- Need to store a boat? -

  • If you already have a boat in the boathouse, head over to our boat storage page to renew

  • The BSRA boathouse has limited spaces available indoors. There is ample space for outdoor storage. Please send an email over to mairead@rowbuffalo.com to discuss storage options.

BSRA is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We welcome youth and adults of all abilities from all over WNY to row and kayak on the Buffalo River from 405 Ohio Street. BSRA is an umbrella organization to several association organizations including:  Canisius High School, Buffalo Seminary, WeCanRow-Buffalo and BSRA Youth.
