This year the 2020 Head of the Buffalo Regatta will look a little different. We will be offering on-the-water events for clubs, schools and individuals near and far. Participants have the option to also enter in an erging event if they cannot get out on the water currently.

On the water:

  • BSRA crews will be assigned a time slot with their team in order to complete their race pieces on the HOBR race course
  • Other organizations or individuals will row the HOBR distance (4350m) on their home body of water, and submit their times on the HOBR 2020 Regatta Central page

Erging:

  • Athletes will submit their 4350m times directly to the HOBR 2020 Regatta Central page

Results:

  • Once the racing submission window closes at noon on October 18th, we will reach out to top crews/individuals to verify their times via photo of erg screens, screen shots of GPS apps or raw GPS data.
  • The final results will be posted to the HOBR Regatta Central page as a PDF.

Prizes:

  • Because we are not all racing on the same day under the same conditions, our prizes reflect the variability in results.
  • We will be giving out HOBR pumpkins just in time for Halloween!
