Rowing is the ultimate team sport! It teaches you about communication, leadership and character. Rowers will learn about time management and dedication so they can have respect for themselves, their teammates, coaches and family. Rowing is a sport that you can do for the rest of your life, it will challenge you physically and mentally. It's an excellent aerobic and anaerobic workout without the risk of many injuries so participants of all ages are welcome! On top of all of this, rowing brings people together for life-long friendships.
US Rowing National Learn to Row Day is June 4, 2022. This is when we have our annual Try It FREE Day which is when we open our site to anyone that wants a taste of this sport.
Buffalo Seminary's Summer @ SEM camp participates in our Youth LTR. If you register through SEM, this rowing camp costs $150/person/week. Each week participation runs Mon-Fri 9:30-11:30a. Please contact Alex Skomra askomra@buffaloseminary.org for more information.
